Special Events Permit<br />

If you wish to conduct a Special Event in a <strong>City</strong> park; that is, an event with<br />

more than 100 people or equipment brought into a park or wedding<br />

or photo shoot or art show/exhibit, a Special Permit is required. Special<br />

Event Permit forms are available at the <strong>Boca</strong> <strong>Raton</strong> Community Center,<br />

<strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> the Community Centers Administrator. and must be submitted<br />

with an original Certificate <strong>of</strong> Liability Insurance to:<br />

Anyone requiring specialized accommodations for our programs should<br />

contact staff at the appropriate facility so they may arrange for you to<br />

• <strong>City</strong> Residents - Ownership <strong>of</strong> South Beach Park, Red Reef Park and<br />

Spanish River Park is held by the <strong>City</strong>. <strong>City</strong> residents are allowed use <strong>of</strong> all<br />

three parks for one permit cost ($45 inc. tax).<br />

• Beach and Park District Residents - Ownership <strong>of</strong> South Beach Park, Red<br />

Reef Park and Spanish River Park is held by the <strong>City</strong>. District residents<br />

may purchase a permit that allows use <strong>of</strong> all three parks ($45 inc. tax).<br />

• County Residents - Residents <strong>of</strong> Palm Beach County may purchase a<br />

permit for South Beach Park through an agreement between the <strong>City</strong><br />

and County. <strong>The</strong> <strong>City</strong> is responsible for all operation and maintenance,<br />

with the provision that County residents be allowed usage <strong>of</strong> the Park at<br />

the same rate as <strong>City</strong> residents ($45 inc. tax).<br />

Pavilion and<br />

Shelter Rentals<br />

Picnic pavilions and shelters may be reserved at several locations as<br />

noted below. Reservations may be made up to<br />

three months in advance. Applicant must provide necessary residency<br />

requirements and pay fees at time permit is issued.<br />
