THE CHILDREN’S SCIENCE EXPLORIUM<br />
<strong>of</strong>fers fascinating, interactive exhibits, programs, and camps designed<br />
to enhance 5 – 12 year old explorers’ understanding <strong>of</strong> everyday<br />
physical sciences. <strong>The</strong> Explorium is located inside the Sugar<br />
Sand Park Community Center. Admission is a suggested $5 donation<br />
per person.<br />
HOW TO REGISTER FOR PROGRAMS:<br />
• Register for programs at the front desk <strong>of</strong> the Sugar Sand Park<br />
Community Center or on Webtrac.<br />
• Parents must register their own children and show a copy <strong>of</strong> each<br />
child’s birth certificate the first time they register.<br />
• Call Sugar Sand Park Community Center at (561) 347-3900 for<br />
specific registration dates and information. Generally, registration<br />
begins four (4) weeks in advance.<br />
• Participants must pre-register at least one (1) day in advance <strong>of</strong><br />
the chosen program.<br />
• All children must be checked in and promptly picked up at the<br />
end <strong>of</strong> each program.<br />
EXPLORIUM FOR EVERYONE<br />
<strong>The</strong> Explorium is a fun place to visit, and staff have paid special attention<br />
to making it accessible for all. While anyone is welcome during our<br />
normal operating hours, we have set aside one morning each month for<br />
families and groups who have members with special needs. Call 561-<br />
347-3909 for additional information and to make a reservation.<br />
