HURRICANE ALL STAR CHEER TEAM (United States Cheerleading Association) Open Tryout Clinic for all interested Cheerleaders uSCA will be holding a month long open tryout clinic and practices for any cheerleader interested in becoming a part of the Hurricane All Stars for the 2011/2012 season. Cheerleaders must be 11 years old and younger as of August 31, 2012. (May not turn 12 before August 31). Extremely popular in Europe, and is a fascinating combination f ballet, acrobatics and theatrical prop handling. Its oriented toward developing grace, smoothness and connection with musical accompaniment. Rhythmic Gymnastics involves two kinds of techniques; body movement and apparatus handling. In this class children will learn the basic techniques with rope, hoop and ribbon, while improving their balance, flexibility, strength, agility and hand-eye coordination.
