3. Place the funnel(s) in the modified can. Tape on<br />

outer ridges to hold funnel(s) to can.<br />

4. If plastic explosive is used, fill the can with the explosive<br />

using small quantities, and tamp with wooden rod <strong>or</strong> stick.<br />

Note: If castable explosive is used, refer to step 4 of section 2.3.<br />

5. Cut wooden rod to lengths 3 inches longer than<br />

the standoff length. (See table.) Position three of<br />

these rods around the explosive filled can and hold<br />

in place with tape.<br />

Note: The position of the rods on the container<br />

must conf<strong>or</strong>m to standoff dimensions to obtain the<br />

penetrations given in the table.<br />
