As a result of itsspecial conception, theWIWA DUOMIX DualComponent System canalso be used in applicationsrequiring threecomponents. Due to the modulardesign of the WIWADUOMIX, a nearlyboundless variety ofsolutions is achievedand each system isconfigured reflectingthe individual requirementsof the customer.3

ON …Air Motor1The patented air motor isequipped with a uniquede-icing system and robustmaintenance unit. Itspiston rod is guided bytwo axles which lead intothe upper and lower housings.This ensures tilt-freeoperation of the threematerial pumps which areconnected directly to thesame piston plate, andreduces wear and tear onthe packings and pistonrod.Material Pump Combination2345By simply exchanging thecenter hardener pump, anew mixing ratio can beachieved quickly and effectively.Should new applicationsrequire different performanceratings, these canalso be achieved byexchanging the materialpumps.A closed lubrication chamberseparates the air motorfrom the material pumps.The lubricant preventspaint from crusting ontothe piston rod and protectsthe packings.All material pumps areequipped with fixed,spring supported, selfadjustingpackings.Pressure and MeteringMonitorTo avoid any mixing ratioerrors, the pressures of bothcomponents are monitored bymeans of two contact pressuregauges.Should WIWA’s recommendedtolerance settings for themaximum and/or minimumpressure be surpassed, thesystem shuts down automatically.WIWA’s standard incorporationof rupture discs into thesystem prevents operationabove the maximum allowableworking pressure and possibledamage as a result.Simple operation by means oflarge, practical, easy to findcontrol switches. SYSTEM!Mixing BlockWIWA mixing blocks are pneumaticallycontrolled and includea flushing arrangementand static mixer.Reliable pneumatic valves(with tungsten carbide valveseats and balls) replace interference-proneball valves.Releasing and/or bleeding thepressure in the system toprovide circulation duringinterruptions in work is alsoachieved by way of pneumaticvalves.If desired, the mixing blockcan also be deliverd withhand-operated valves.The mixing block is framemountedfor applications withmaterials having a long potlife.For those applicationswhich have a short or extremelyshort potlife, anexternal mixer is availablewhich can be located directlywhere the coating is beingapplied.If required, the system can beconfigured for operation witha remote control, as well.Dosage Control andDispensing StationThe mixing ratio can bechecked using this assembly.Futhermore, a small quantityof each component can bedispensed in amounts correspondingto the mixing ratio.These materials may then bemixed manually for makinglight touch-ups, which is veryadvantageous.No additional cleaning isnecessary, as each componentis dispensed separately.
