Request <strong>For</strong> Quotations (RFQ) NO. 1008-910-99-3284 <strong>Unit</strong> <strong>Make</strong> <strong>Ready</strong> <strong>Services</strong>=====================================================================UNIT MAKE READY SERVICESATTACHMENT BTECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONSThe Contractor will furnish all labor, tools, paint brushes, paint rollers, drop cloths, cleaningmaterials, supplies, transportation, equipment, and supervision of contractor employees(regardless of full time, temp or other) as required to complete unit make ready tasks/functionsat the various multi-family and senior residential developments, high-rises and single-familydevelopments.Prior to commencement of the make-ready, the Authority will furnish all building materials andsupplies (such as cabinets, paint, texture, caulking, flooring, windows, doors, door jambs,appliances, etc.).Basic <strong>Make</strong>-<strong>Ready</strong> work will consist of items listed below:“A” Cleaning“B” Painting“C” CleanupThe make ready scope of work will document and list all items in need of repair or replacementduring the completion of the make ready. Scope of work will include Interior and exterior ofapartments, residential homes, additional spaces, porches, steps, carports, exterior storagestructures, and/or garages attached or detached to include yards, gates, and fences.* Note: Prior to commencing with the make-ready, property management will notify thecontractor of any hazardous materials (such as lead and/or asbestos).A. CLEANING: As applicable, remove and dispose of any items or debris abandoned in the apartment.Dispose of these materials to an approved offsite location. Hazardous materials shall be restricted to the use of appropriate containers anddisposed of in a proper and legal manner to an approved offsite location. This is thesole responsibility of the contractor. Range/Ovens: Remove all loose or burned on food particles, grease and old dirt fromaccessible surfaces. Grease and particles shall be cleaned from walls, floors and underrange. All loose parts such as drip pans, oven bottoms and broiler pans are removedand cleaned or replaced if directed by Housing Authority staff. Exhaust Fans, Vent-a-hoods and microwaves shall be free of grease and have a cleanfilter installed. Refrigerator is defrosted, cleaned and dried. Ice trays are cleaned and dried. Doorseals (particularly accordion folds) are cleaned. Drip pan is emptied and cleaned. Dustis removed from rear coils.Equal Housing Opportunity Equal Opportunity Employer
