Canadian Work Experience ProgramThis program is a seven-week English programwith an unpaid work placement component. Studentswill study English for four weeks, followed by a threeweekvolunteer placement. General English ProgramAcademic English ProgramThis 14 - week program enables students to advance theirEnglish language skills for personal and professionaldevelopment. Our in-depth program focuses ondeveloping fluency in speaking, listening, reading, andwriting. Students participate in a variety of seminarssuch as Business English, TOEFL Preparation, TOEICPreparation, Conversation, Listening and Pronunciation.NOTE: Students entering either program at a low –intermediate level will begin in the Foundations Streamof the program.This 14-week program prepares students to enterCanadian universities, colleges, and high schools. ESL TeacherCertificate ProgramThe English as a Second Language Teacher CertificateProgram (ESLTCP) is a University of Winnipeg program thatcertifies graduates to teach ESL to adults both in Canadaand overseas. Programming is available on a full-timeand part-time basis and can be completed either onlineor in-person.
