Katherm Ultra 6000 GK 1.54 1.46Ready-to-install underfloor convector mit heaters 2-Stufen • Fan-assisted Drehstrommotor convection 400 VInstallation Electrical und Montage wiring1. Correct and proper useKampmann fan-assisted floor duct heaters have beenmanufactured in accordance with state of the art engineeringand recognised safety directives. However incorrect installationand commissioning of the units together with improper use ofthe units can cause fatal injury, damage to the unit heaters ordamage to other units or systems.Kampmann fan-assisted floor duct heaters should only be usedto provide supplementary heating, to screen off cold air ingressand warm areas up rapidly. The units should not be used for anypurpose other than the one described above. Correct andproper use is also understood as meaning the implementationof the installation instructions given in this manual. The installation of these units requires technical expertise in thefields of heating, cooling and ventilation, and preferably atechnical qualification in one of the aforementioned fields.Damage resulting from improper installation is the soleresponsibility of the user.CablingRoom thermostatwith integral fanspeed controllertype 146924Mains230 V/50 HzMains230 V/50 HzMains230 V/50 Hz3 x 1,5 3 x 1,5 3 x 1,56 x 1,5(5 x 1,5)*Roomthermostattype 146927Fan speedcontrollertype 1469264 x 1,5(3 x 1,5)*6 x 1,5(5 x 1,5)*Clockthermostattype 146910Fan speedcontrollertype 1469264 x 1,5(3 x 1,5)*6 x 1,5(5 x 1,5)*2. Important safety informationThese units should be wired and serviced by qualifiedelectrical technicians in accordance with VDE or ENstandards and recognised electrical guidelines.Non-observance of these directives and of the detailedinstructions provided in the installation manual may causemalfunction of the unit, resulting in damage to the unit itselfand possible fatal injury. Incorrect wiring may also result in fatalinjury! All parts of the system should be disconnected from the mainsprior to electrical wiring and service work being carried out.6 x 1,5(5 x 1,5)*6 x 1,5(5 x 1,5)*to further fan-assistedfloor duct heatersThe no. of wires and their crosssection(i.e. 6 x 1.5) is indicated foreach control unit. The number in brackets should beused in the absence of athermoelectric actuator i.e. ifthermostatic valve type 146907 isused.Switch-junction boxes should be usedwhen fitting thermostats and speedcontrollers.3. Electrical wiring• Cut the plastic packaging from the fan end of the unit.• Fold it back but do not cut it off.• Remove the fan cover and filter.• Remove the cover for the speed controller terminal strip andconnect the wires as shown on the wiring diagram on thereverse.• Apply power and check that the unit is operating correctly.• If the unit is operating correctly, switch power off, replaceterminal strip cover, fan cover and filter.• Re-apply power.
