The 1956 AIC Champion Boll WeevilsThe accomplishments of the 1956 Arkansas A&Mbasketball team remain unique in the school’s athletichistory. Plans also call for the expansion of the existing conferencecenter. “This project is the result of a lot of hard work by ourlegislators, the foresight of Governor Beebe, and the generosity ofMrs. Maxine Clippert of Camden, whose late husband, George, wasa long-time friend and benefactor of the forestry program,” saidChancellor Jack Lassiter. “We are excited by the possibilities thisfacility will create for our School of Forest Resources in teaching, research and extension.”Fall 2010 15
