This way, theinstallation pressure will be applied to the innerrace and will not be transmitted to the bearingballs which would otherwise shorten the bearinglife.Apply heat outside of the housing with a heat gunto expand its diameter prior to inserting the shaft.EnsurethereisnoO-ringonthehousinghalfpriorto heating.Apply engine oil on supercharger shaft.
