Transportation service providers will trace a Code J shipment on request from a PPSO and make a report as toits location within 72 hours. When a tracer is received on a Code J shipment that has entered the AMC airliftsystem the following procedures will apply:(1) Confirm with your port agent the shipment has been delivered to the AMC aerial port. Once thishas been determined, contact the applicable air clearance authority (ACA) for lift data. Be certain you aretracing with the correct TCN.(2) Provide the tracing activity with the name of the APOE, the date you delivered the shipment tothe APOE, and all known lift data. Advise the tracing activity if the ACA has not been able to provide liftdata.b. After you provide the information stated above, all further tracers will be initiated by thedestination PPSO.
