URBAN TRACK Issued: 12/08/2008
Quality checked and approved by project co-ordinator André Van Leuven
The Network of Industries will meet twice a year until the end of the project life. In addition,
collaboration with the Network of Operators will occur through joint meetings (1 or 2 per year).
The members of the network will discuss and scrutinise selected deliverables in detail, propose
modifications where it is considered necessary and offer advice/assistance to industry partners
as requested.
Meetings will be structured according to the following agenda:
– Brief review of project status
– Presentation of SP abstracts (focussed on technical innovations) by task leaders
– Industry view on technologies/innovations presented and interactive discussion
– Actions and assistance by Industry partners
– Cooperation with Operators
Abstracts are to be written by task leaders (in conjunction with UNIFE) and sent to the network
for information prior to the meeting. SP leaders (or their representatives) will present each task
to the network before the interactive discussion.
UNIFE will provide logistical and management support to the Network of Industries meetings
including the dissemination of documents, and planning and preparation of the meetings. The
Industry members are responsible for the Expert’s travel and hotel arrangements.
Apart from the meetings, the main tool used by the Network of Industries will be the
http://ftp://dropbox.urbantrack.eu web space, which was activated at the end of 2007 and to
which all Network of Industries, Network of Operators and consortium members have access in
order to facilitate joint work on documents in the periods between meetings.
Currently the deliverables are divided as confidential (use inside the Consortium only) or for
public use. However, if the partners declare a deliverable is confidential, they must produce a
non-confidential version for distribution to the networks of Operators and Industries. A
selection of the most relevant documents and deliverables will be presented to the Network of
Industries. As a general rule, information should be provided one month ahead of every
meeting. The documents to be discussed and presented to the Network of Industries members
for comments will be available using the above mentioned web space.
A selection of deliverables will be presented to the Network of Industries when available,
similar in content to the list indicated under the Network of Operators.
