This kit enables cooling air to be directed exclusively to the oil cooler allowing maximum effectiveness from the nlet’s outside air. No longer will preheate engine cooling air be used for cooling oil. Aircraft owners desiring to reduce the engine oil temperature (and having dedicated room in the cowling) can easily install the Oil Cooler Inlet Kit. The inlet scoop mounts directly to the oil cooler itself insuring maximum cooling efficiency. Two additional kits are available to complement the Oil Cooler Inlet Kit. The Oil Coller CamLoc Kit provides CamLoc fasteners and seals to allow easy de-coupling of theinlet for removal of the cowl. Items are finished with grey primer gel coat which minimizes sanding and eliminates the need for primer paint. Note: Light sanding is required to remove mold release wax residue from surface of all fiberglass items prior to painting. MC-1A NOSE COWL Styled after the Piper Comanche, this cowl can be used on just about any homebuilt powered by the Lycoming engine. It is made in two parts, allowing the easy removal of the cowl without having to remove the prop. BONANZA NOSE GEAR BRACE These PMA approved replacements for the Nose Gear Brace are used in early Bonanzas. Most of these aircraft have severely corroded nose gear braces as a result of lightening holes that allow moisture to enter and collect in the bottom of the housing. Even dry country aircraft are found to have corrosion. This is because many of these aircraft have been repainted and paint remover has entered the housing and is reactiviated when water enters the housing during aircraft washing.
