All plastic grate andchannel components are chemically resistant, rustproof,and maintenance-free.SimpleNDS Channel is light-weight and easy to install. Grates areremovable for easy clean-out and replacement. ChannelGrates may be held in place with NDS screws or holddown clips. A complete line of accessories is available foreach channel.NDS Channel Systems operate on the same principle as aroof gutter. Our “Profile Series” of channel drains connect likePVC pipe. Our “Modular Pro Series” Injection Molded Channelhas mechanical interlocking joints. All NDS channel easilyconnects to sewer and drain pipe and fittings or SCH 40 pipeand fittings.VersatileTo blend with surrounding surfaces, our Channel Grates areavailable in six colors, as well as solid brass for the MiniChannel. Cast iron and rolled steel grates are available forthe Dura Slope and Pro Series Channel. A steel frame is alsoavailable for the Dura Slope.The Channel System also offers a choice of outlets. Water canbe evacuated from the bottom of the channel or from the endor sides of the channel.EfficientChannel Drain eliminates the need for grading a deck surfaceto a low area. Instead, the deck is gradually sloped in onedirection or plane, and the channel drain acts as a perimeterdrain at the edge of the slope.Most hardscapes experience more runoff than landscapes dueto the lack of water absorption. Channel Drain systems providemore overall open surface area than conventional area grates.Non-Sloped Channel System AdvantagesNDS offers non-sloped channel system advantages; lessexpensive, simplifies inventory, eliminates need to stockvarious sloping channel sections. Multiple outlets providesafety through redundancy, should any individual outletbecome clogged.
