Theregistration of a hearing <strong>aid</strong> <strong>user</strong> is done after you have installed the MY.WIDEX.COM Compass module and carriedout your clinic registration. Please see the quick guide ‘Setting up MY.WIDEX.COM’.The following describes how <strong>to</strong> <strong>register</strong> a hearing <strong>aid</strong> <strong>user</strong> on MY.WIDEX.COM. If you need further details, pleasesee the ‘User’s Manual’.User registration1. After you have connected the hearing <strong>aid</strong>s in Compass, select the MY.WIDEX.COM module in the left navigationbar under SESSION START. This opens MY.WIDEX.COM.2. 3. Make sure the <strong>user</strong> understands the statement of consent. The <strong>user</strong> must accept the terms in order <strong>to</strong> useMY.WIDEX.COM. Mark the checkbox and select ‘Next’.4. Select the hearing <strong>aid</strong> <strong>user</strong>’s experience level.5. If you do not want <strong>to</strong> make the <strong>Hearing</strong> Aid Questionnaire available <strong>to</strong> the hearing <strong>aid</strong> <strong>user</strong>,de-select the checkbox.6. Type the email address of the <strong>user</strong> in both text boxes.7. Select ‘Finish’.8. Inform the <strong>user</strong> that two emails have been sent <strong>to</strong> him/her; one with a link <strong>to</strong> MY.WIDEX.COM, and the otherwith a password. This password is needed <strong>to</strong> log in <strong>to</strong> MY.WIDEX.COM where the <strong>user</strong> is asked <strong>to</strong> accept theterms and conditions. The hearing <strong>aid</strong> <strong>user</strong> must log in within 90 days.9. Select ’Close’ <strong>to</strong> return <strong>to</strong> the MY.WIDEX.COM window in Compass.Client registration status

Forgotten <strong>user</strong>name or passwordIf the hearing <strong>aid</strong> <strong>user</strong> has forgotten his or her <strong>user</strong>name or password <strong>to</strong> log in <strong>to</strong> MY.WIDEX.COM, the <strong>user</strong> clickson ‘Forgot password’ or ‘Forgot <strong>user</strong>name’ on the Log-in site of MY.WIDEX.COM. The <strong>user</strong> does not have <strong>to</strong> contactyou, but will au<strong>to</strong>matically receive a new <strong>user</strong>name or password by e-mail.The hearing <strong>aid</strong> <strong>user</strong> has not received the e-mails for log-inIf the hearing <strong>aid</strong> <strong>user</strong> has not received an e-mail with the login information after you have <strong>register</strong>ed him/her onMY.WIDEX.COM, you can resend the information via the Management Tool.You can change the <strong>user</strong>’s e-mail address before resending the login information.
