To the cripple man who was healed, Christsaid, “Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worsething come unto thee” (Jn. 5:14).e Bible plainly teaches that homosexuality is a grave sin.It is described in Romans 1:26-28 as “vile affections” (v. 26),“against nature” (v. 26), “unseemly” (v. 27), “a reprobatemind” (v. 28).Any sin can be forgiven through the blood <strong>of</strong> Jesus Christ,but sin must be repented <strong>of</strong> and the sinner must be convertedand regenerated so that he has a new impulse toward holinessand righteousness and a revulsion toward sin.e believers in the wicked city <strong>of</strong> Corinth had committedevery sort <strong>of</strong> sin before they were saved, but they had beenchanged. And such WERE some <strong>of</strong> you: but ye arewashed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name <strong>of</strong>the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit <strong>of</strong> our God” (1 Cor. 6:9-11).Paul warned the church at Corinth that God does nottolerate their fornication. “Flee fornication. Every sin that aman doeth is without the body; but he that committethfornication sinneth against his own body” (1 Cor. 6:18). If apr<strong>of</strong>essing Christian commits fornication and refuses torepent he must be disciplined out <strong>of</strong> the church (1 Cor. 5:11).Paul told the church at Ephesus that fornication should notbe “once named among you, as becometh saints” (Eph. 5:3).e Bible teaches that any sexual relationship outside <strong>of</strong>marriage is a sin. “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bedundefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God willjudge” (Heb. 13:4).329
