However, it is important torealize that the criterion for staying in a house was not thegreeting of peace itself but whether those in that housereceived the message. ‘And whosoever shall not receive you,nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city,shake off the dust of your feet’ (Matthew 10:14). ... Let mespeak very boldly here: if we are going to link hands with thosewho believe in another gospel or no gospel at all for the sake ofestablishing an earthly, unified kingdom, we will not bebuilding the kingdom of God” (Faith Undone, pp. 150, 151).Saddleback Worship Leader Rick MuchowRick Muchow was the worship leader at Saddleback fromAugust 1987 to February 2012. He carried out Rick Warren’spurpose driven philosophy that music is neutral and that anymusic can be used to glorify God. Muchow was also theworship leader at the influential Purpose Driven conferencesduring his 25 years with Rick Warren.304
