62 Operating Locomotive Equipment4. When operating a locomotive with an RDC at temperatures lessthan 15° F, make sure the RDC is on line <strong>and</strong> working to maintainsufficient heat for passengers.62.3.3 Non-Complying Condition Found EnrouteA locomotive that develops a non-complying condition enroute maycontinue operating if the engineer or other qualified employeedetermines the locomotive is safe to move. The locomotive may thenbe operated until the next daily inspection or until it reaches thenearest point where repairs can be made, whichever is first.The engineer must:1. Report any non-complying conditions on the Locomotive DailyInspection <strong>and</strong> Trip Report.2. Report non-complying conditions to the train dispatcher as soonas possible.3.
