All the projects offered to step in or organise the internal navigation, to bring under control the water movements (with specific guides and forced crossings), as well as, the projects aiming to achieve the completion of Shkodra’s watery area with all the necessary elements to establish a modern tourism industry (all basic infrastructures: roads, bridges, lights, waste and water discharging, public transportation etc.) have been analysed and the conclusion is that none of them goes against the policy of protecting the natural environment of the lake and Buna river. - A yard for constructing fluvial and sea navigable units. - A highway joining Shkodra port with no. 5 and no. 10 corridors. - An electric train connecting the port city of Shkodra and Podgorica. Exploitation of mineral resources Cooper: Different companies are waiting for the green light to invest in cooper excavation in Shkodra - Puke region where it is well known to exist 65% of the geological and industrial cooper reserves of Albania. We are talking about projects offering a very advanced technology for the exploitation of volcanogenic cooper (found in Puka), volcanogenic-sedimentary cooper (found in Shkodra and Puk e) .
