MOTIONCONTROLDispense StationsLOCTITE ® SINGLE ROTARY DISPENSE STATIONItem Number: 98427The Loctite® Single Rotary Dispense Station is used for repetitive dispensing of circles, arcsand/or dots in a circular pattern that also requires motion in the z-axis. It is a fully integratedsystem that will control a syringe, cartridge or dispense valve. No separate dispense controlleris required. The programming is menu driven using a multi-line, back-lit display. The rugged,all-metal construction is designed for tough manufacturing environments.LOCTITE ® DUAL ROTARY DISPENSE STATIONItem Number: 98428The Loctite® Dual Rotary Dispense Station is used for repetitive dispensing of circles, arcsand/or dots in a circular pattern on two simultaneously controlled stations. It is a fullyintegrated system that will control a syringe, cartridge or dispense valve. No separate dispensecontroller is required. The programming is menu driven using a multi-line,back-lit display. Installation and integration with a dispense syringe, cartridge or valve is very simple, only requiring a mountingbracket and several pneumatic connections. The rugged, all-metalconstruction is designed for tough manufacturing environments.Features for Rotary Dispense Stations:• Integrated solution – plug and play• Compact size• Easy to program with menu driven prompts• Robust slide design• Stroke adjustment 0 to 2"• Adjustable height, position and angle of dispense point• Rugged, all-metal enclosure• Vacuum suck-back to eliminate drips when syringe dispensing• Auto repeat mode cycles unit continuously without foot switch• Wide variety of mounting hardware availableProgrammingSimple to program using a multi-line, back-lit user interfacepanel with user friendly prompts. It is possible to enter 10programs consisting of full circles, dots and/or arcs. Each ofthese dispense patterns is considered an “event” and there canbe twenty events per program. For each event, the user specifiesthe start and end coordinates in degrees (determined in set upmode), the rotating speed, the delay after the slide advances butbefore dispensing starts, and the delay after dispensing beforeretracting the slide. Programs can be initiated using either afoot switch or the start button. When this occurs, a completeprogram cycle is executed. The table rotates using a steppermotor that allows the location to be specified within 0.1 degree.Required Separate Purchases• Dispense valve, syringe adapter, or cartridge adapter• Mounting bracket• Dispense needles• Fixture to locate part(s)• Tubing for connecting valve(s) and air in98428 – Loctite ® Dual RotaryDispense Station with a 90° set upTECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS98427 – Loctite ® SingleRotary Dispense Station98428 – Loctite ® Dual RotaryDispense Station with a 45° set upAttribute 98427 98428Dispense PatternCircles, Arcs and/or Dots in a Circular PatternNumber of Dispense Points 1 2Rotating Speed 0.1 to 100 RPM 0.1 to 100 RPMSlide Stroke 0 to 2" 0 to 2"Maximum Part Height 1* 12" 8" at 90°Maximum Part Size 1*8.5" Diameter4" Diameter at 90°6" Diameter at 45°Width 14.1" 14.1"Dimensions Depth 11.6" 11.6"Height 28.7" 23.9"Weight 26 lbs. 25 lbs.Weight Capacity 2* 30 lbs. 30 lbs.Air InputClean, dry air not to exceed 125 psig and filteredwith a maximum of 50 micronsAir Output 0 to 100 psi 0 to 100 psiPower Source110/220 VAC; 50/60 HzProgram Capacity 10 10ProgrammingMulti-Line Digital Control Panel with User Friendly PromptsParts Included(1) Rotary Dispense Station(1) Fitting Kit for Dispenser Connection(1) Foot Switch (1) Power Cord (1) ManualAdditional Information For Valve Dispensing, see pages 64-74.For Syringe Dispensing, see page 83.For Mounting Hardware, see page 95.For Dispensing Tips, see pages 80-817.* For explanation of notes 1 and 2, please refer to notesbelow the chart on page 92.94For additional information and the full line of equipment, visit www.equipment.loctite.com.
