It features a manual trigger actuator that is ergonomically designed for comfort,application control, and a low actuation force to reduce hand fatigue. It also incorporates asuck-back feature that prevents dripping or stringing. This valve must be used in conjunctionwith a Loctite® Bond-A-Matic® 3000 Reservoir (item 982726 for low viscosity, item 982727for medium to high viscosity), sold separately. Since this valve is manually controlled,it is not capable of timed dispensing or compatible with low level sensing.Features:• Pistol grip provides comfort and control• Low actuation force to reduce hand fatigue• Suck-back feature ensures accuracy and control• Dispenses products up to 15,000 cP with 1 ⁄4" feed line (standard)• Dispenses products up to 80,000 cP with 3 ⁄8" feed line (optional)• Operational with manually controlled pressure reservoirsTheory of OperationThe hand held applicator is a modular design made up of aproduct shut-off valve and valve actuator. This type of designprovides quick on-line serviceability. The adjustable suck-backfeature eliminates stringing and dripping. The shut- off of theLoctite® Hand Held Applicator takes place mechanically with thespring return of the shutoff piston to the rest position.
