The valve body and stem are constructed of PTFE to preventpremature curing and together with the fine tuning strokeadjustment, this valve can deliver very small and repeatabledrop sizes shot after shot. This valve must be used inconjunction with a Loctite® brand controller and productTypereservoir, sold separately.Viscosity RangeFeatures:• Dispenses low viscosity cyanoacrylates, anaerobic,and other adhesives under 10,000 cP• Slim, ergonomic design greatly reduces hand fatigue• Forward closing to avoid air entrapment and potentialpremature curing of cyanoacrylates• Stroke adjustment for fine -tuningof dispense characteristics• Dispenses repeatable drop sizes down to 0.005 g• Easy repair/replacement of wetted componentsTheory of OperationWhen used in conjunction with a pressure-time controller andadhesive reservoir, the valve is opened by an internal, single -acting cylinder and piston rod. After initiating the control cycle,the piston is pulled, opening the PTFE flow channel, andallowing adhesive to pass. At the end of the controlled open time,pressure is released and the valve is closed via an internal springmechanism, closing off the flow channel.
