This dispenser utilizes an innovative inflatable siliconeseal design to insure moisture is kept separated from the reactive PURHot Melt. Product is dispensed using a rugged gear pump design, andwith 3 separate heating zones (platen, hose, and applicator) to insurelong term reliable dispensing.Features:• Fully enclosed pail unloading station with a rugged silicone sealdesigned to keep moisture out, and an elevator platform to ensurecontinuous seal/hot melt contact as the pail is emptied• 3 zone heating with convenient digital control panel withcomponent on/off LED displays and digital temperature read-outs• Inflatable silicone pail seal design ensures reactive moistureis kept out of a 5 gallon pail during operation• 3 zone heating controls, pail platen, hose, and applicatorwith no check valves to repair or replace• Can be used on any standard hot melt adhesivein a 5 gallon pailUtilitiesTheory of OperationA 5 gallon pail of PUR Hot Melt is positioned onto the elevatorplatform and raised to engage an inflatable silicone seal intothe pail. The platen is heated to the desired temperature andmelts the product which then flows towards the center of theplaten. As the elevator maintains pressure on the pail, theliquefied product is channeled towards the gear pump aroundthe bottom center of the platen. Utilizing the control panel,a temperature range is selected that is within the product’s usetemperature. Once the application temperature is reached, theequipment is ready to dispense product. When the applicatortrigger is actuated, the gear pump turns on and forces theproduct down the heated hose and towards the dispenseapplicator.
