Determine the adhesive shot volume required per part, in cubic centimeters (cc’s; same as ml’s), from production requirements.2. From adhesive technical data sheet, determine the adhesive volumetric mix ratio(high volume component/low volume component).3. Review the pump pair combination and corresponding blue maximum and minimum output and ratio range requirements within thewhite or gray grids and choose a configuration using the following parameters See examples 3 and 4.a. The required shot must be > 15% of the minimum output (cc’s) of the combined pump pair configuration. The minimumpump configuration output is equal to the High Side Pump + minimum output for the Low Side Pump.b. The required shot should be < 85% of the of the maximum output (cc’s) of the pump pair configuration. The maximumpump configuration output is equal to the (High Side pump CC maximum + maximum Low Side Pump).4.
