Dispense SystemsDISPENSINGTUBE BONDINGLOCTITE ® LIGHT CURE ACRYLIC ADHESIVE DISPENSING SYSTEMItem Number: 98445The Loctite® Light Cure Acrylic Adhesive Dispensing System is a dispensing systemthat rapidly and consistently applies a uniform coating of light cure acrylicadhesives to the outer diameter of tubing without adhesive getting into theinternal surface of the tube. The dispenser can accommodate circular tubes from2.0 mm to 6.0 mm in diameter (depending upon bushing size); with a maximumengagement depth of up to 8 mm. Adhesive dispensing onto various diametertubes is accomplished by using specifically sized stainless steel bushings on thedispense orifice. These bushings are easily interchanged on the dispenser. Anelectric motor continuously re-circulates adhesive through the dispensingbushing, thus eliminating waste and insuring adhesive is readily availablewhen tubing is inserted into the dispenser.Adhesive CompatibilityThis unit is designed for use with Light Cure Acrylic Adhesives only.It should not be used with Cyanoacrylates or Light Cure Cyanoacrylates.Features:• Uniform and consistent tube coatingusing simple one hand operation• Bushing design insures no adhesivecontamination of internal tube surface• Easy adhesive adjustment allows operatorto optimize adhesive dispense amount• Optional bushings allow a variety of tube diameters• Versatile system designed to apply adhesive to the outerdiameter of tubing with optional bushings available• Design prevents light exposure of adhesive in the dispenser• Electric pumping mechanism provides constant adhesivesupply and eliminates the need for compressed air• Built-in adhesive level sight glassTheory of OperationThe operator adjusts the adhesive application rate to optimizethe amount of adhesive applied to the assembly. When thetubing is inserted into the bushing, an internal spring retractsand allows the tubing to be inserted.
