DISPENSINGDispense SystemsLOCTITE ® DIGITAL SYRINGE DISPENSING SYSTEM Item Number: 883976The Loctite® Digital Syringe Dispenser is a semi-automatic dispensing system designed to dispenseadhesives and fluids packaged in 3, 5, 10, 30, and 55 syringes and 300 ml cartridges. The unit hasdigital timing control with decimal settings to 0.001 seconds for increased precision over typicalpressure-time systems. An adjustable pressure regulator controls a pulse of air, and when used inconjunctions with an air line adapter attached to an adhesive syringe barrel, will provide acontrolled dispensed amount of adhesive. The system can be operated in the manual, incremental,or timed (automatic) dispense mode to dispense dots, beads or to fill syringes.Features:• Vacuum suck-back can effectively control productdripping or stringing• Manual, Incremental, and Timed modes allowa choice of adhesive dispensing methods• Convenient “teach mode” to set time requiredfor desired dispense amount or volume• Cycle counter is clearly displayed in the LCD screen• The unit can be integrated into customer’s PLCprogramming to initiate a dispense cycle• Units can be stacked securely to save workspaceTheory of OperationThe system is a pressure-time-vacuum dispense system. Itconsists of an air regulator and pressure gauge to controlpressure, and an electrical timing circuit to control the dispensecycle. When the dispense cycle is initiated, a pulse of air, eithertimed or manually controlled, is transmitted to the top of thesyringe barrel via an air line adapter.
