A TRADITIONAL THANKSGIVING
Looking for a way to share your
Blessings this Thanksgiving?
Please help us sponsor and feed a family with
A Traditional Thanksgiving Meal
Since its inception, our Thanksgiving Project has yielded generous contributions of food
boxes every year for families in need. This yearly mission has always been a great success
due to the love and generosity of our parishioners. We hope you will join us in our effort
again this year.
This year we are going back to the Traditional Thanksgiving Meal concept
St. Anthony’s Bread will be collecting donations on November 10-11 at all
Masses. We will distribute your food donations to families and other individuals in need,
identified by our various outreach organizations, in time for them to celebrate Thanksgiving
with a Traditional Meal.
As we enter the 2012 holiday season, let us join together again in prayer and almsgiving to
live our faith as true disciples of our Lord by sharing our bounty with those in need.
Here’s how you can help:
The suggested grocery list on the back of this flyer will provide a Family of up to 6
members a Traditional Thanksgiving Meal. You may donate as many MEALS as you
wish.
It is also possible to donate a portion of a meal. Just let us know the donation is not a
complete.
New this year, we are providing the cardboard boxes. By utilizing a standard size,
we can better store and distribute the meals. Be sure to pick up as many as you need.
NOV 3-4 in Bishop Sheltz Hall at all masses.
Prepare your food boxes and bring them to the front of the Church at any Mass during
the weekend of November 10-11 (Please see the reverse side of this flyer for instructions.)
Going out of town? Need to arrange early drop-off of your donations?
Want to contribute, but won’t be in town November 10-11? please contact Paul Castello at
the Pantry (832-482-4210; bread@staoptw.org) to make arrangements for early delivery to
the Pantry.
