Removing the oven door for cleaningTo facilitate the cleaning of the inside of the oven and the outer frameof the oven, the door can be removed as follows:-o The hinges (A) have two movable bolts on them (B).o If you raise both of the movable bolts (B), then the hinges (A)are released from the oven housing.o You should grip the sides of the door at the centre and thenincline it slightly towards the oven cavity and then by pull itgently away from the oven cavity.o WARNING- Care should be taken as the inner edges of thedoor may be sharp.o IMPORTANT: You should make sure that the door is supportedat all times and that you place the door on some paddedmaterial whilst cleaning it.o The oven door and door glass should only be cleaned using adamp cloth and a small amount of detergent. The cloth MUSTNOT have come into contact with any form of cleaning productor chemical previously.o To refit the door you should slide the hinges back into their slotsand open the door fully.o IMPORTANT: The movable bolts (B) must be closed back intotheir original positions before closing the door.o Take care not to dislodge the hingelocking system when removing the door,as the hinge mechanism has a strongspring.o Do not immerse the door in water at anytime.32
Removing the inner door glass for cleaningo Do not use any abrasive cleaner that could cause damage.o Remember that if the surface of the glass panel becomesscratched, this could lead to a dangerous failure.o To facilitate cleaning, the inner door glass can be lifted out.o To facilitate cleaning, thedoor glass can be liftedout.o Open the door of theoven to a 45° angle.o There is a plastic sealingsection at the top of theoven door, which has 4small slots in it.o Place a coin horizontallyinto one of the small slotsand rotate the coinclockwise. You will feelpart of the plastic sealingsection disengage from thedoor.33
