Note: Release/ Retention settings above a<br />

release moment of 100 NM at the toe and 400<br />

NM at the heel are higher than the international<br />

standards recommend and are used solely at the<br />

skier’s own risk!<br />

7. Function Check<br />

Check the function of the heel. Make sure that<br />

the boot does not catch on the heel during entry<br />

and exit.<br />

Check the brake function by pressing down the<br />

brake treadle (1) by hand. The brake arms (2)<br />

must open to the braking position when the<br />

brake treadle is released (see pict 46).<br />

Check the elasticity and retention of the toe by<br />

pushing the boot inward and outward. The binding<br />

must recenter the boot easily and quickly<br />

from a 15 mm lateral displacement.<br />

8. Final Check<br />

• Is the proper mounting point selected?<br />

• Is the forward pressure properly adjusted?<br />

• Are the release values of toe and heel properly<br />

determined and set?<br />

• Is the Instruction for use booklet ready to be<br />

handed over to the customer?
