HonorsCandidates for the associate or bachelor’s degree whoearn a 3.75 GPA graduate with distinction; those witha 3.90 GPA graduate with high distinction. The honoris recorded on the student’s academic record anddiploma.DiplomasA University of Minnesota diploma indicates a student’sname (as submitted on the eDegree Application), thedegree earned, and any honors earned. A University ofMinnesota diploma doesnot indicate a student’smajor; majors areindicated on the transcriptonly. Diplomas aremailed approximately twomonths after graduation.If you have not receivedyour diploma after twomonths, please contact theRegistrar’s Office at218-281-8547. NOTE: Itis your responsibility toreview your record for holds. Any student who hasan outstanding financial debt to the University willnot be allowed to graduate until the debt has beencleared.
