Elementary study <strong>of</strong> alternating currents by analytical and graphical<br />
methods; alternating current machinery. The effect <strong>of</strong> inductance,<br />
capacitance, and resistance loads. Numerous problems are worked<br />
dealing with reactive circuits; resonance; coils in series and multiple;<br />
single and polyphase alternators; single and polyphase systems; synchronous<br />
motors; transformers; induction and single phase motors.<br />
