DiagnosisThe standard diagnosis reading can be achieved by a cyclic method, which entailsdeclaring a diagnosis zone in the Master configuration, or by an acyclic method, usingDFB GETDIAGNOSTICS_STD. The benefit of the acyclic diagnosis is two-fold: itprevents permanent overload of the bus bandwidth, and it provides a morecomprehensive diagnosis.The cyclic status provides the necessary information with the release of the diagnosisreading. (see the highlighted text in the illustration below).The result of that reading is interpreted by the PROFIBUS_STD_DIAG_HILITE block85
