Prosoft Configuration BuilderUsing ProSoft Configuration Builder, set the PTQPDMV1 module as follows:• Open a project and select the module PTQPDMV1. Attention: the choice ofproject name will affect the name of the exchanged variables in UnityPro files(Don't use too long name) .• Configure the master bus (bus speed, number of inputs/outputs exchanged, services allowed, etc.).• Redefine the addresses of shared areas by clicking on "Profibus Master DPV1"Example: Input Start Register in 1000 with a length of 768 registers matched theaddresses from %IW1000 to %IW1767.• Enter the parameters of the Ethernet connection (IP address, netmask andgateway).• Configure the Profibus equipment network. To do this, use the Profibus DP menuand then select “Configure Profibus”.• The checksum is used to ensure that the PLC application uses the sameconfiguration used by the PTQ-PDPMV1 card. Push calculate button to get thechecksum value.61
