EIGHTH AMENDMENT TO MASTER AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE DESERT COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT AND DESERT COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT AUXILIARY SERVICES This amendment is made and entered into this 1st day of August, 1996, by and between Desert Community College District, hereinafter referred to as "District" and the Desert Community College District Auxiliary Services, hereinafter referred to as "Auxiliary". PURPOSE The purpose of this amendment is to extend the relationship between the District and the Auxiliary for a term of five (5) years commencing on September 1, 1996 through August 3 1, 2001. The extension would include First Amendment relating to the operation of the Dining Hall and Bookstore and the Sixth Amendment relating to the Regional Business Assistance/ Alternative Energy Technical Training Center. CONDITIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS All other conditions and considerations as contained in the Master Agreement, First Amendment and Sixth Amendment shall remain the same. ( TERM OF AGREEMENT This agreement shall remain in effect for the period of Five (5) years commencing September 1, 1996 and ending August 3 1, 2001, unless otherwise terminated by either party upon thhy (30) days written notice. It is further agreed that this amendment shall be renewed automatically for periods of one year upon annual expiration unless otherwise amended by a successor agreement.
