BACKGROUND : The attached list of equipment has exceeded its maximum use by the District due to obsolescence and/or disrepair and is valued at less than $2500. The District needs to dispose of this equipment in accordance with the District Policy on Surplus Equipment and with Education Code Section 81450. BUDGET IMPLICATION: Any monies generated from sale of surplus equipment will be returned to the General Fund. RECOMMENDATION: The Superintendent/President recommends the Board of Trustees declare the attached listing of equipment as surplus to be disposed of in accordance with District Policy and Education Code Section 81450.
