AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT:
The University intends to ensure that people with disabilities have access to participate fully in
seminars and training events in which we are involved. Therefore, the Organization will be responsible
for notifying registrants of their need to identify in advance any accommodation needs or requests.
The costs of special services such as the provision of a sign language interpreter will be the
responsibility of the Organization.
LIBRARY SERVICES
There will be charges for borrowing privileges. These arrangements must be done through the
Conference Services Office one month in advance. During the summer the Libraries are only open till
6pm; and not on week-ends.
Driver Options:
Option 1: Conference Organization will the Regents of
the University named as
drivers licenses.
Option 2: UCSD will provide drivers for the UCSD vehicles rented at Conference
-me.

The Organization agrees to have a person present at all times during the conference who shall be
responsible for leadership and/or supervision of all conference participants while on campus. The
name of this person shall be provided to the Director of Conference Services sixty (60) days prior to
the opening date of the conference.
The University Rules and Regulations are attached as addendum A.
UCSD does not permit smoking in any indoor area except in private residential space.
Pets and animals are prohibited in all housing areas including rooms and/or dining spaces at all
times. Breach of this provision will result in a liquidated damage charge of $25.00 for fumigation
The person who signs this agreement on behalf of the Organization represents that he/she is
authorized to execute this agreement. The University reserves the right to request at any time prior to
the conference that the Organization provide in writing satisfactory evidence in the opinion of the
University that the person signing this agreement on behalf of the Organization is so authorized,.
