Elettro-Telefonico) was established in Turin
1958 URMET enters the residential and tertiary communication
sector and starts the production of door phones
1967 URMET is one of the first in the world to design
a video door phone system

1981 URMET designs and markets the first fully automated
system for managing credit card telephones
1987 URMET starts designing and marketing electronic POS
(Point of Sales) payment systems
1996 URMET splits the Video Door Phone branch
and the new Urmet Domus company is established
