Fire alarm buttons are used to manually trip the alarm. The 1043/143 is of the
break-glass type: simply apply pressure to the middle of the glass to break it and
operate and internal switch. Replace the glass to reset (spare part code 1043/247).
The 1043/144 can be rearmed: press the central part of the glass to actuate
the switch. A test tool is provided to test the device and rearm the glass.
A red LED on the buttons indicates alarm state.

These detectors indicate the presence of methane and LPG gas in concentrations
lower than the minimum explosivity limit (LEL), i.e. 10%, well before an explosive
mixture is formed. They are provided with a relay alarm output (NO and NC
contacts), an optoisolated NC fault output and two terminals for connecting
to a current line for conventional control units.
