CONVENTIONAL DETECTORS
The range of Urmet detectors is characterised
by its streamline style: Urmet knows that discreet
shapes are essential to prevent overloading
architectural spaces with a high number
of technological devices.

Relying on detection device accuracy is crucial
for preventing the first risk. Urmet has developed
a range of highly reliable conventional detectors
based on three types of sophisticated technologies.
• Smoke detectors: based on the different light
scattering caused by the smoke particles present
in the air.
• Heat detectors: a high accuracy temperature
sensor detects variations in the area
• Velocimetric heat detectors: these devices analyse
temperature variations and increase speed
• Mixed smoke and heat detectors: suitable for
places where both events must be monitored
All devices comply with the current CDP/89/106/EC
directives.
The range is completed by manual buttons, special
gas detectors, linear smoke detectors and reflection
detectors.
