PERIMETER DETECTORS
Perimeter detectors are certain crucial for ensuring
secure, serene places. These devices trip an alarm
when a window is opened or when a glass pane
is struck or broken. Under a simple appearance,
they implement sophisticated, state-of-the-art
technology and are capable of discriminating true
from false alarms which is essential for the global
quality of the intrusion system.
Urmet has various technologies:
- magnetic contacts, based on magnetic induction
and guaranteed by the lack of wear
- electromagnetic contacts, consisting of a single
element (button or micro switch) which trip when
a contact is mechanically actuated
- piezoceramic sensors, consisting of a piezoceramic
plate which automatically generates electric pulses
when vibrated.
The latter are very sensitive and implement a inertia
amplification device of the vibrational signal.
