SOU hadobsessively and illicitly noted all the numbers in a couple of schoolexercise books after each test flight. Such detail would aid the DIS'sunderstanding of the accuracy and range of the Soviet missile armory.More importantly, Knightley would pass the intelligence to theAmericans who could use it to improve their anti-ballistic missiledefences. It would bring considerable kudos for MI6. `We've got to getthat notebook out of Moscow,' concluded Knightley.7.
