POLE Bass Reflex two way loudspeakers systemB I O N A I Fc o l l e c t i o nPOLE BionaifThe Pole is a bookshelf speaker witha two way rear ported bass reflexdesign.Created entirely from the Researchand Development of Synthesis usingsophisticated CAD programs andextensive listening and fine tuning,the Pole trace's the same principlesthat characterise our other models.Constructed of wood to an elevateddensity, it is cut by computer control,therefore guaranteeing absoluteprecision in the manufacturing andbuilding process.In order to increase the rigidity of thedesign, the panels are glued in such away so as to eliminate standingsound waves within the innercabinet.Such attention to detail allows us toobtain a further increase in therigidity of the panel and so an evensmaller overall resonance factor.The drivers used are a custommanufactured 130 millimetrealuminium mid/woofer and a 25millimetre silk dome tweeter.These drivers are made specificallyfor the Pole speaker.Thanks to this design we are able toobtain extended frequencies down to40 Hz and we are also able todelineate the high frequency range upto 20 kHz.More over the tweeter possesses theability to reproduce a rich, preciseand incredibly natural sound.With an efficiency of 84 dB and apower handling of 120 watts rms,the Pole is at home on mostamplifiers. The aim of Synthesis wasto construct a speaker that wouldrecreate for the customer the mostrealistic sonic reproduction.It is in this reproduction that musicis loved, be it rock or classical,blues or jazz. This ability followsfor either Audio or for HomeCinema.We want to create a reproductionthat is more realistic than just arecording, but to capture the essenceof the musical event, and theemotional pleasure that it implies.All of our speakers are designed inorder to be able to reproduce musicin normal domestic atmospheres,rather than only in an acousticallyperfect room.Great care has been given to theaesthetic factor.
