Coordinating Phases, ContinuedPhase II:analysis ofresponsesIn phase II analyze responses and make corrections or adopt suggestions. Ifeveryone concurs and comments don't require major revision, polish-up thedraft and send it forward for approval.However, agencies may respond with negative comments or non-concurrencesrequiring major changes. You may have to revise the draft and send it out again.Phase III:finalcoordinationPhase III is the final phase of staffing an action. After analyzing comments,making revisions, and resolving any non-concurrences, package the decisionpaper and supporting documents. Then send it (or brief it) to the decisionmaker for approval.Note: SOP 10.00.00 (Staffing of Correspondence) provides guidance forassembling correspondence.
