Known for its eye catching architecture <strong>and</strong> acoustic excellence, this<br />

1,800-seat theater is gaining an international reputation as a superb<br />

performance space. Our state of the art sound <strong>and</strong> lighting systems<br />

can be “fine-tuned”—acoustically <strong>and</strong> otherwise—for all types of<br />

<strong>event</strong>s from concerts to Broadway productions, to lectures <strong>and</strong><br />

commencements.<br />

VANDERHOEF STUDIO THEATRE<br />

The 3,000 square foot Studio Theatre features a window wall<br />

overlooking an outdoor plaza <strong>and</strong> the <strong>UC</strong> <strong>Davis</strong> Arboretum. It is a fully<br />

equipped theater suitable for dance,<br />

The Quad is the historic center of <strong>UC</strong> <strong>Davis</strong> as well as the center of student life. Freeborn Hall <strong>and</strong> Memorial Union<br />

meeting rooms are located in the Quad District <strong>and</strong> can be booked individually or together. These <strong>facilities</strong> form a<br />

conference district that can accommodate up to 1,800 people in a versatile space with numerous breakout rooms.<br />

Across from the Memorial Union is the tree-lined Quad, offering acres of expansive green lawn for <strong>event</strong>s of all kinds.

This versatile auditorium provides an excellent setting for banquets, auctions,<br />

space, including a multi-configuration ballroom <strong>and</strong> two meeting rooms, plus an adjacent courtyard. The Pavilion, an<br />

8,000-seat arena, exp<strong>and</strong>s the scope of <strong>event</strong> possibilities. Easy freeway access <strong>and</strong> ample parking just steps away make<br />

this an ultimately convenient destination for trade shows, athletic <strong>event</strong>s, banquets, receptions <strong>and</strong> meetings.

Opened in 2007, this modern stadium offers Division I quality<br />

amenities. The 105,000-square foot Aggie Stadium is the perfect venue<br />

for athletic <strong>event</strong>s such as intercollegiate football, soccer, women’s<br />

lacrosse <strong>and</strong> field hockey. Or use the complex for concerts <strong>and</strong><br />

ceremonies. Whatever the occasion, up to 11,000 spectators can attend<br />

<strong>and</strong> enjoy perks of a ticket office, scoreboard <strong>and</strong> video screen, as well<br />

as concession st<strong>and</strong>s.<br />

With its natural wood-paneled interior, floor-to-ceiling windows, a stone<br />

fireplace <strong>and</strong> balcony, the Recreation Pool Lodge lends itself to a variety of<br />

<strong>event</strong>s from business meetings to social functions.<br />

The large main room has hardwood flooring <strong>and</strong> a gas fireplace. It is<br />

furnished with comfortable upholstered chairs. The smaller West Lounge is<br />

well suited to lectures <strong>and</strong> breakout sessions <strong>and</strong> can also serve as a buffet<br />

area. Second level rooms can be combined <strong>and</strong> configured for a variety of<br />

<strong>event</strong>s. A carpeted balcony overlooks the main floor <strong>and</strong> also has its own<br />

Along the southwest strip of campus’ Putah Creek drifts serenely by, setting the backdrop for the Arboretum District.<br />

Known for its impressive <strong>and</strong> worldly botanic collection, the colorful Arboretum sets the mood for <strong>event</strong>s of all types<br />

<strong>and</strong> features a charming gazebo. Intimate Putah Creek Lodge, at the east end, serves as the district’s indoor space <strong>and</strong><br />

offers audio/visual equipment <strong>and</strong> other indoor amenities.

Overlooking Putah Creek in the southwest section of the <strong>UC</strong><br />

<strong>Davis</strong> Arboretum, Putah Creek Lodge is a unique hexagonshaped<br />

facility with many appealing indoor <strong>and</strong> outdoor<br />

amenities.<br />

Inside, the focal point is a distinctive fireplace. The room is<br />

carpeted <strong>and</strong> has an adjacent fully equipped kitchen. French<br />

doors lead to a patio which circles the building <strong>and</strong> overlooks<br />

acres of beautifully l<strong>and</strong>scaped grounds.<br />

Outdoor amenities include a large built-in barbecue, picnic<br />

tables, a well shaded picnic area <strong>and</strong> an amphitheater<br />

with bench seating around a fire pit which can be used for<br />

campfire presentations, lectures or ceremonies.<br />

100-acre public garden is situated nearby the University Gateway <strong>and</strong> is home to over<br />

4,000 types of trees <strong>and</strong> plants. With eighteen distinct collections, the Arboretum is<br />
