FacilitiesSports Complex and Schueler FieldThe Sports Complex provides a state-of-the-art space for student-athletes and thefans who support them. It houses concessions, locker rooms, showers, equipmentstorage, and athletic training facilities and can seat sell-out crowds of 2,400.Sporting a synthetic, all-weather playing surface and track, the Mount’s SchuelerField plays host to the football, soccer and lacrosse teams, in addition to hometrack meets.Harrington CenterFeaturing a 2,000-seat gymnasium, the Jean Patrice Harrington, SC, Student Centeris home to the <strong>Lions</strong> basketball and volleyball teams, and plays host to the wrestlingteam’s home matches. In addition, the facility includes a running track, racquetballcourts, a fitness center, and an athletic training center, providing service tostudent-athletes and the greater Mount community.Kinder Morgan Softball ComplexThe Kinder Morgan Softball Complex has played host to the Mount’s softball teamsince 2007. In addition, the College has developed property on River Road intopractice fields for soccer and baseball. The facilities feature parking, restroomsand a service building for equipment storage.Marge Schott StadiumThe <strong>Lions</strong>’ baseball team plays home games at the University of Cincinnati’s MargeSchott Stadium. Marge Schott Stadium, has a seating capacity of 3,085, a field turfplaying surface and a fully-lit playing field. In addition, the complex houses indoorbatting cages and pitcher’s mound, a fully equipped press box with private viewingareas, a players’ clubhouse and lounge, dressing rooms for coaches, full laundry andequipment facilities, and a state-of-the-art training room.Aston Oaks Golf CourseAston Oaks Golf Course, located 15 minutes from campus, is the Mount’s home golfcourse for the men’s and women’s golf teams. Constructed by the Jack NicklausDesign Group, Aston Oaks is a par-72 course. The men’s team faces 6,908 yards witha 73.6 rating and 140 slope. The women’s team faces 5,758 yards with a 73.2 ratingand a 130 slope.Mount Tennis CourtsThe <strong>Lions</strong>’ men’s and women’s tennis teams play all home matches on the six,fully-lit asphalt courts located behind the Harrington Center.Hayden FieldLocated on the west side of campus, next to the tennis courts, Hayden Field isa multi-purpose site that includes a practice field for softball and track & fieldathletes.<strong>2012</strong> <strong>CROSS</strong> <strong>COUNTRY</strong> GUIDE 5
