Renewable Energy Technology CenterDescription of the ProjectThe Renewable Energy Technology Center in the Negev will proceedwith the promotion of research and development projects in this field incollaboration with university other research institutions, research institutesand industry. The Center will oversee the project from the initial stagesof the research and development in the university until the technologicalfeasibility stage and will also offer research and development servicesto industrial manufacturing companies in the field of renewable energyincluding training activity and activation of areas for experiments.The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor will be investing substantialresources in existing programs for the development of new products inthe sector, the sponsoring of companies in the training of specially skilledmanpower and encouragement of the export of Israeli technology overseasvia a system of commercial attaches of the Foreign Trade Administration inthe Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.The Project is being undertaken in collaboration with the Ministry ofInfrastructures, The Finance Ministry and the Ministry for Development ofthe Negev and Galilee and is being implemented by the Office of the ChiefScientists' at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.Target Group:Researchers, academics, entrepreneurs and technology companies in therenewable energy sector.11 < Invest in the Negev and GalileeMinistry of Indusry, Trade and Labor > Negev and Galilee Development Center
