International career trips
Each year, we organize an international career trip so that you
can really experience the ‘hotspots’ of the hotel and tourism
industry. Designed to inform and inspire career choices, each
tour combines a number of behind-the-scenes hotel visits,
presentations, interviews with human resources personnel,
alumni meetings and educational trips to tourist attractions.
It is a great way of giving you first-hand experience of what
it would be like to live and work overseas, and an invaluable
indicator of whether a particular location is the right place for
you to succeed professionally.
Recruiting on campus
Throughout the year both campuses host a wide variety of
companies representing over 1,000 hotels, cruise ships and
other hospitality organizations.
In 2010, company representatives recruited for
around 400 positions exclusively from the ranks
of our students and alumni. Participating students
received an average of three to four job offers per
person!
