Operational VersatilityCompact Lightweight Ergonomic DesignThe HVR-V1E is designed to be very compact and lightweight, for a high level of mobility in the field. Itweighs approximately 1.5 kg (3 lb 6 oz) (camcorder only). The design of the HVR-V1E is based on yearsof Sony’s experience in camera ergonomics and provides ease of use and operational comfort.Audio Level DialsTwo audio level dials are located on the carrying handle where they are easy to adjust, whileavoiding inadvertent operations. The microphone power can be easily turned on and off via themechanical switches.EXPOSURE/IRIS DialThe EXPOSURE/IRIS dial is located near the zoom and focus rings for smooth camera operations.The dial can be used to set the iris, AE shift and exposure compensation functions, giving operatorsmanual exposure control during auto exposure mode.
