MicropackPower SystemGREAT SMALL POWERThe Micropack power system isdesigned for smaller loads, yet with aheavy functionality. With few standardbuilding blocks easily mounted on a DINrail, the system is fully on-siteconfigurable.Product DescriptionThe Micropack Power System extends your network onestep further. With load ranges typically between 120W and1000W, the system is perfect for broadband extension andother high speed data and telecom applications. It is suitablefor both indoor and outdoor applications. With a few DIN rail mountable building blocks, the Micropackpower system is design for on-site configuration andassembly. This allows fast and efficient logistics andenhanced flexibility.Broad functionality including ethernet based remotemonitoring is provided by the Compack controller. The Micropack Power System comes in 12, 24 and 48Voptions making it suitable for industrial applications ascontrol cabinets, safety systems and building automationapplicationSystem Building BlocksPower CoresThe power core options are 2 or 4 plug-in positions forMicropack rectifiers and one position for Compack controller,or a simple bulk AC in - DC out stand alone unit with onerectifier plug-in position. The multi rectifier cores also includecommon AC mains connection, internal signaling andredundant DC current output.Battery DistributionThe battery distribution is configurable with plug in stylebreakers. Battery connection terminals and low voltagebattery disconnect (LVBD) are rated for optimal batterybackup. The battery distribution is available for negativedistribution systems.Bulk feed optionAs an option to the battery distribution, the bulk feed optionis available for a non-load distribution power solution or withself made wired standard DIN rail breaker distribution. Thisoption is available for systems with floating, positive ornegative ground.Load DistributionDistribution is on-site configurable with plug in style breakersand can be used in series with more distribution blocks ifneeded. The load distribution has positive ground.Marine Filter UnitThe MicroPack System complies to DnV Rules forClassification of Ships, High Speed & Light Craft and DnVOffshore Standards when the AC mains input is connectedthrough the Marine Filter Unit. The filter can be used forpower cores with up to 4 rectifiers installed.Micropack RectifiersThe rectifiers are convection cooled for system installationin harsh and noise sensitive environments. Wide ranges ofboth input voltage and operating temperature give thesystem superior system availability. High current ability forselective fuse tripping and support for DC input extends theapplication range.
