PIPE > (To Disk)<br />

Syntax<br />

(To Disk):<br />

Command Description<br />

The > (To Disk) stage functions as a QSAM stage, as long as name is enclosed in<br />

single quotation marks, and there is an input stream. If name is not enclosed in<br />

single quotation marks, or if there is no input stream, a syntax error is reported.<br />

For any other QSAM function, use the QSAM stage explicitly.<br />

Data received on the input stream is written to the specified name.<br />
